Welcome to my site. As a tarot card reader myself, I know firsthand some of the issues faced by beginning tarot card readers. Where do you start? There are a myriad resources available to you, all making different promises, all providing different takes on the same information. Who are you to believe? Well, I've decided to put a stop to all of this. Havinge been through the experience of having too many choices, and too much information, I've decided to break it down to the barebones. I've read just about every single tarot book on the market, and below, you'll find my top 3 recommendations for beginners. Start with these resources before worrying about anything else. These were chosen based on personal experience, quality and quantity of information, and value for the money. After all, why pay $60 for an hour long reading when you can spend one-third of that to learn a skill you can use for a lifetime. |

With chapters covering the meanings of the cards, how to perform a tarot card reading and even how to start a tarot card business, this guide covers all the basics. Add to that the fact that they show you a simple trick to memorizing the meanings of the cards very quickly, and provides psychic development exercises, and you have the best guide on the market today. Empress Tarot is our recommendation for the strict beginners, or for people who are unable to swing the $27 for the #1 product. What is important about this guide is the printable pages which give you exact layouts, as well as the history and philosophy it teaches. This is a fine guide, but it simply doesn't go as far in depth as advanced users would like, and the descriptions of the meanings of the cards are a little vague. |
For those who are turned off by books and would rather learn in a live course, Tarot Card Reading Secrets is for you. While they no longer offer the live course, all of their teachings have been put on high quality streaming video. This is a good course, but it moves very fast. Previous experience is definitely recommended, although this course does offer some introductory guides to get you started. Why isn't this guide #1? The video format doesn't allow you to dig as much into the meanings of the cards, so you'll probably want something else for that. Despite this, it is a very good course, and one that offers a few major advantages over the others. |
